I had the opportunity to create a lyrics video for trans queen Lagoona Bloo's latest track, 'C U Tonight.' Lagoona envisioned a throwback to the Y2K era, which posed a challenge as it was a style I hadn't tackled before. To prepare, I delved into research, drawing inspiration from classic vaporwave aesthetics.
I aimed to blend abstract network concepts with realistic urban scenes to make the desired retro vibe for Lagoona's vision. To set the mood, I opted for a color scheme of black and pink, aiming for an innocent yet seductive atmosphere as per Lagoona's request. This project spanned over two weeks.
